A macOS application that replaces the background PDF of already-annotated GoodNotes documents — for instance when a new revision of a form is released — without touching the handwritten annotations. It can also fix a form field directly in the background PDF.
Yes. The modified document is built separately and submitted to six checks; every untouched element must show a strictly identical SHA-256 digest. If a single check fails, nothing is written. A backup is created before every operation anyway.
No. No account, no telemetry, no network access: everything happens locally on your Mac, and your documents never leave your disk.

Ideally it has the same page count and page size. If they differ, the app does not block: it shows a precise warning that you confirm knowingly.
Yes, it is a known limitation: GoodNotes keeps a text index of the old background, which the app does not regenerate. The document display itself is correct.
No. The app is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by GoodNotes' publisher; it simply works on your .goodnotes files, with systematic backups.
