- Compatibility: Mac running macOS 26 or later, with QuickTime Player

- Required permissions: Accessibility and Automation (QuickTime Player, System Events)
Good to know
- The iPad does not show up among the sources: check the USB cable, unlock the iPad and accept “Trust This Computer”, then press ↻.
- QuickTime opens but stays on the wrong display: choose “Slow” under Launch speed, then launch again.
- After an app update, macOS may ask for the Accessibility permission again: the orange card takes you there.
- The “Stop” button closes the recording without saving anything: no video file is created.
