Touchdown creates no account, so there is no account to delete. Your logbook is only on your devices and, if you turned on sync, in your private iCloud; here is how to erase everything.
No sign-up, no username, no password. ElpisIA holds no data about you and has access to none of what follows: we cannot erase anything for you, and nothing stays with us.
Before erasing: keep a copy
A pilot logbook is kept for a long time. First, export it in More › Backups & Export (full backup, PDF, CSV or JSON) and store the copy off the device.
1. Erase the iCloud data
- On each device, turn off sync: More › iCloud Sync.
- On iPhone or iPad: Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage (the label varies with the iOS version) › Touchdown › Delete Data.
- On Mac: System Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage… › Touchdown › Delete (the label varies with the macOS version).
This deletion applies to all your devices on the same iCloud account; it does not touch the logbooks already on your devices.
2. Erase the logbook from each device
- iPhone and iPad: delete the app from the Home Screen (touch and hold › Delete App). The logbook, its automatic backups, the widgets and the settings go with it.
- Mac: move Touchdown to the Trash, then delete its data folders in
~/Library/Containers(com.fl330.touchdownandcom.fl330.touchdown.widgets, which the Finder may show as "Touchdown") and, if it exists,~/Library/Group Containers/group.com.fl330.touchdown: on a Mac, moving the app to the Trash does not delete its data. - Copies you exported yourself (Files, iCloud Drive, email, other storage) are not touched: delete them where you stored them.
3. Remove the permissions
Camera and Face ID access can be removed in the device's Settings; deleting the app removes them too.
